HALFTONE PRINTING
A type of screen printing method that emphasizes the use of shading with tiny dots. Pictures can be printed using halftone screen printing and only use one single colour to do so. The method of halftone printing looks best when the one printed ink colour is darker than the background.
SIMULATION PROCESS
A unique colour separation process for high quality raster artwork using few ink colours combined with screen printing to create or simulate a full colour image.
SPOT PROCESS PRINTING
A traditional method where the colours of your design are applied individually in layers, eventually filling in all of the spots in your custom design to create a full colour image.
PROCESS PRINTING (CMYK)
CMYK printing is done by layering four colours (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) on top of each other to re-create art or a realistic image with only four screens. You can print CMYK with both plastisol and water-based inks and is best done on white or light garments.
